Akhil Sharma - Founder
Akhil leads Fijishi with Preethi Sharma. His interest in why accountability frameworks fail began with the 2008 financial crisis. Fijishi, incorporated in May 2023, is built around one question: whether an AI decision holds up before a regulator, a court or an insurer. He is co-author of the Fijishi Jurisdiction Index: AI in Insurance Decisions (2026).
Preethi Sharma - Co-founder and Managing Director
Preethi leads Fijishi with Akhil Sharma and runs its operations and its submissions to public consultations on AI. She is co-author of the Fijishi Jurisdiction Index: AI in Insurance Decisions (2026).
How we work
Every Fijishi finding is examined and signed by both founders. There is no hand-off to junior staff and no sales layer between a firm and the people doing the work; the fee pays for their time. Fijishi takes a limited number of engagements at a time, so that both founders work on each one.
