Fijishi combines two ideas we chose.
Fi - taken from frequency: the physics of signal and boundary. What determines whether a system operates within a defined limit, and what happens when it does not.
Jishi - which we chose to stand for engineering: not the building of things, but the discipline of building things that hold.
Fijishi asks one question of an AI decision: does it hold up - which rule did it meet, who was accountable, and who could stop it? The name is a statement of that discipline.
